You've just warped into...

United Trek is a group of fan fiction writers who came together on the Trek BBS and who have decided to share our characters and storylines to create one unified, yet at the same time diverse, setting existing within the universe of Star Trek.  As work progresses on the site, we hope to bring you more than just our stories.  We now have a forum and we're looking to do more.  IDIC: Infinite Diversity through Infinite Combinations.  That is what you will see in our stories.  So enjoy and keep coming back as the ships and characters of United Trek continue to explore strange new worlds!

The United Trek Universe

Updates

June 29, 2008:  We've got some very nice vignettes to end the first month of summer with.  First, there's a couple of Gibraltar tales: The Last Man, featuring everyone's favorite El-Aurian, Pava Lar'ragos, and then we have Between The Rock and a Hard Case where a chance encounter at Quarks leads to a heated confrontation between two long-time rivals.  Once you've read those stories, you should check out a really gripping Bluefin vignette written by LoneRedShirt, This Ain't Hell, But... set during the First Cardassian War in which you'll see a much younger Joseph Akinola, then a Master Chief Petty Officer and Chief of the Boat on the Bluefin and an even younger and more hot-headed Solly Brin.  Finally, there's  a new Perseus vignette written by David Falkayn: Burdens of Command.  In this story, newly appointed chief engineer Angela Barrows discovers that command and friendship don't always go together.  We hope you enjoy these stories and as always, our readers are welcome to swing on by our message board and leave your comments.

June 21, 2008: Today's entry is a new Sutherland story, this one called Rocks and Shoals, guest starring the USS Bluefin and her crew.  Because of the length of this story, it's posted in four parts: Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV.

June 3, 2008: CeJay has two new Star Eagle Adventures short stories posted at his site in the Short Stories section.  Check out, Letters From Home, a Dominion War short from a different perspective; and Star Crossed, an action packed  crossover with the Bluefin.

June 1, 2008: What better way to start of a new month than with a Bluefin vignette?  In Aftermath, LoneRedShirt gives us a small glimpse into the important role played by the Border Service after battles--in this instance, following the bloody battle to retake Deep Space Nine, Operation Return.

These are the stories of our shared universe.  The links for Star Eagle Adventures, Star Trek: Dauntless, and Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead will take you to outside sites where the authors of those series house their stories.  You'll note that there are a few sections that aren't linked yet.  They're still under construction, but hopefully they'll be open soon.   Whether your interests are TOS, Movie Era, or Next Generation and beyond,  exploration or combat, inner conflict and drama or more light-hearted tales, we hope you'll find something for you here and that you'll keep coming back.
