Star Trek: Lexington

USS Lexington (NCC-1709)

The USS Lexington was one of the first twelve Constitution class starships to be produced.  Under the command of Commodore Robert Wesley it earned distinction performing a variety of missions.  Like its sister ships, the Lexington represents the finest that Starfleet has to offer.  It has a cruising speed of Warp 6, although it can attain up to Warp 9 for very short durations in the event of an emergency.  It's crew of 430 is handpicked and represents the best of the best.  With its phasers and photon torpedoes as well as extensive science labs and research facilities, the Lexington can easily handle both combat and exploration duties as called for.
